Supporting developing singers
Northwood is focused on helping all singers develop their skills and capabilities. We are aware of the challenge for professional singers to develop aspects of their skills, to gain opportunities to perform solos, and to learn how to sing well in ensemble. Our Emerging Artists program is designed to support singers through this phases. Artists come and join the choir, singing in section, taking solo roles, and learning from Julie's vocal pedagogy. The choir gains immeasurably from our engagement with our Emerging Artists.
